Stone Services Yorkshire was established in the late 1990’s to provide a reliable supply of quality local stone walling to the town of Wetherby and surrounding West Yorkshire villages such as Collingham, Linton, Boston Spa, Clifford, Bramham and beyond.

The geology of this area is a buff colour magnesian limestone which varies from a whitish cream to a warm yellow colour in places. As time has gone by all the local walling stone quarries have either closed or consumed their reserves meaning matching to existing buildings requires using reclaimed stone or material from different areas of the UK. We are specialists in natural stone walling and paving and have been providing an expert matching service for over 20 years. We have extensive experience in stone reclamation are always interested if you have any reclaimed stone to sell [see page]. We regularly visit many quarries around the UK and maintain an extensive stone library, even holding samples from different beds of stone within quarries to obtain the best match possible for your project.

We work with housebuilders, architects and specifiers and are passionate about stone building conservation and restoration. We can provide the complete stone package for your building project from paving, flooring, walling, copings, heads and cills, worktops and roofing.

Over time our geographical reach and stone offering has expanded to complete projects throughout Yorkshire including Harrogate, Knaresborough, York and beyond.

In 2021 we moved from the Old Timber Yard site to a new 4 acre site off Walton Road in Wetherby which gives us an opportunity to expand our operation and services further. We are committed to increasing our range and stockholding so that we can assist you on your next stone project.
