Limestone is a sedimentary rock found in a number parts of the UK. Its colour can range from warm yellows, cream or beige to almost white.  It has been used to build many famous buildings such as York Minster and the Houses of Parliament.

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand-sized silicate grains.  There are vast reserves of sandstone in the UK and colours range from buff to grey to red and everything in between.  It is also widely used for producing masonry such as lintels and cills.

We stock a range of standard sized stone copings and pier caps for finishing entrance, boundary and garden walls.  These are available in a range of surface and edge finishes and can also be manufactured in British stone if required.
