High quality Brazillian black slate fireplace hearth with a lightly riven natural surface.  Machine calibrated on the underside to give a consistent thickness of 25mm across the slab.
 
These hearths have a naturally smooth riven surface with a very low cleft giving a nice surface for installing a wood burner or multi fuel stove.  They come with a standard square cut diamond sawn edge which can be converted to a pencil round or arris edge using hand diamond pads on site if required.  They are easy to cut to shape for installation using a diamond blade in a disc cutter if this is needed.
 
The photos show the hearths when wet, we recommend using a high quality colour enhancing sealer such as PRO-410 to maintain this colour.
